I have been blogging for ages on livejournal (http://orion-smiles.livejournal.com ) but this site will allow me to lovingly terrorize my cousin Helen while keeping the Heath clan up to speed with at least two Gardner girls and a bunny. Also with blog can be free of memes and pointless quizzes.
So all those Heaths must wonder.....what on earth has Laura been doing?!?
This summer I have been living on my own in Knoxville. Yep that's right, I have my own
apartment and a roommate. His name is Odin - he is a 2.2lb Holland Lop rabbit. He enjoys running VERY fast, knocking over "bunny fences,"eating raisins, flopping, trying to eat paint off the wall, and forehead "pettings".

Last week my charming other half moved to Johnson City (about 2 hours north east of Knoxville) to begin pharmacy school at ETSU. I was able to help him move into his loft styled apartment in beautiful east Tennessee. His orientation was last Wednesday through Friday. He had his first day of classes yesterday. His classes sound very scary and even scarier when he doesn't abbreviate the titles. He is getting all settled into his new place however his roommate -Squee, a 2.5 lb Netherland Dwarf- is disgruntled that I'm not visiting constantly. Squee seems to be of the impression that Wes has killed Odin and me and is very grumpy as a result. I'll get to hear a bit more about his other classes later this evening.More updates to come.
